How amazingly healing and calming we feel when we are in touch with nature. We know the fact that those who stay close to nature, tend to have longer life expectancy. Since time immemorial, natural elements have been worshiped and revered. It has always been suggested to follow the qualities and rhythm of nature for greater wellbeing.
If we look closely, we get to know that natural phenomenons inevitably
- are detached from the outcome
- relinquish what’s gone
- happen in the Now
- are impermanent
Let us talk about Four important elements of nature and how we can inculcate their characteristics to balance out our energies and thus life on the whole:
- The Element of Earth:
- The energy of Earth is grounded, rooted and firm. It is the bedrock of existence. It is infinitely generous.
- It gives rise to and nurtures all forms of life indiscriminately.
- So, when we embody this Earth energy in our family, we are reminded to be grounded and rooted.
- It teaches us to be a container for our near and dear one’s diversity.
- Just as the Earth stays nurturing and never gets destroyed, no matter what is happening on the surface, we are reminded to stay solid, and welcoming and life-giving as the Earth.
- The Element of Air:
- The space / air exudes lightness and expansiveness of being.
- It guides us to allow ourselves space to be our authentic selves, not what society forces us to be.
- When we do so, we energetically allow others around us to be their true selves.
- The Element of Fire:
- It ignites change.
- We can ignite inspiration and change within us.
- It guides us to burn through the old, as quickly as it does.
- It teaches us to disrupt and destroy the old patterns.
- Fire is also warming, inviting, life giving and lifesaving.
- To create new things sometimes we need to destroy the old.
- The Element of Water:
- Laozi said “Supreme Good is like water. Water greatly benefits all things, without conflict. It flows through places that people loathe. Thereby it is close to the way.”
- It explains us to flow with the stream of life.
So, if you have felt a connection to Nature and want to deepen it, allow yourself to turn toward that light!! Get inspired and move into its rhythm to feel expansive.
Nature is the purest portal to inner peace.
