What was the first thing you did this morning after waking up? Did you remind yourself how busy your day is? Did you check your phone? Did you rush to the kitchen to prepare breakfast? Did you rush for a shower?

Relation between happiness, positive emotions and overall human wellbeing have been subjects of study since time immemorial. Researchers say that, Whatever picture we hold in mind, our brain translates that into complementary chemistry in our body.

For the last few days, I was out of schedule, out of focus, out of order, out of discipline etc. etc. I lose sense of control of my life, even when a little bit of chaos enters my life. Well, the definition of chaos differs from one person to another. What I have tried to learn and understand is, how to make this chaotic period an opportunity for self-growth.

When my grandfather was ill and in the hospital in his last month of life, I used to communicate with him by writing. I came across that small conversation paper the other day and it filled my heart with immense joy.

Time of the year has arrived when we pause and recollect successes and failures of the year which has gone by and we head to taking all new refreshed resolutions for an awesome year ahead.

‘Why Me?’ How many times have we pondered over this? I have done it most of the times when I encounter situational or personal disappointments. But, does it help in any way? Not really!!

The notions that have not worked for us at all, rather have pulled us down or have put us in bad mental conditions, are ought to be given up. Only then do we realize how easy it can be to bring positivity in our lives.

Stories have been the fabric of our society, from Indian Mythology to the moral stories of Panchatantra to the plays by Rabindranath Tagore. Stories have been there to guide and instruct us, on every facet of our lives.

Life, for most of the people these days, has become a series of back-to-back marathons. These marathons are driven by so many reasons, the majority of them being materialistic achievements to fit in the archetype set by culture.
